Commitment to upcoming technologists
In view of the emerging shortage of qualified personnel, large companies and commercial groups have
previously invested heavily in personnel marketing. Major brands take this opportunity to woo young
people, particularly young technologists.
However, when applying for jobs, the future technical workforce frequently fails to
appreciate the advantages of secure jobs, the often greater scope and the manifold career
opportunities offered by medium-sized businesses and disregards them in favour of those major
brands.
The initiative described here is being launched by a number of small and medium-sized
businesses, all of whom have achieved an outstanding market position in their sectors and fields of
activity and many of whom have established themselves as market leaders. Together these companies
wish to support young people, particularly young technologists.
