Clyde Bergemann GmbH
For over 60 years, Clyde Bergemann GmbH in Wesel has been concentrating on efficient furnace
cleaning technology. The company was originally founded in 1948, in what was then West Germany, but
its roots go right back to 1912. Part of the global operating Clyde Bergemann Power Group, the
company employs about 180 people and is a competence center for power generation and
industrial boilers, biomass-fired power stations and refuse incineration plants.
Clyde Bergemann needs to employ highly qualified technologists. Since 2009 the company has
been a partner in the cooperation between Science on Stage Deutschland e.V. and Lenord + Bauer, and
hopes that this initiative will help to encourage young people to take up technology.
